Fall Flat 5K Trail Race in the Greenbelt

Whether this is your first or fiftieth 5-K, we guarantee you a fun time with a great group of local runners – in the beautiful Greenbelt! Supporting the Greenbelt While You Run Your participation and race fee helps support the not-for-profit Greenbelt Conservancy, which works in partnership with NYC Parks, to care for the Greenbelt’s parks, trail system and diverse programs.

About the Course and Timing Fall Flat takes you along Willowbrook’s White Trail and around the lake; it is flat and well suited for novice runners and walkers as well as more competitive athletes. The course is clearly marked with overhead ribbons and signs/arrows.

Course marshalls are in place to provide assistance. There is one water stop mid-course. The race is professionally chip-timed culminating in an awards ceremony with refreshments. Medals, Race Shirts, Photos Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in twelve age categories, as well as to the top overall male/female finishers. A wicking race shirt is provided for all pre-registered runners. Race photos are posted on the The Greenbelt Conservancy facebook page within 48 hours of race day. Race bibs, timing chips and shirts will be distributed on race day. Arrive early to pick-up. Same day registration is $35.00 – register early to save money! Start time is 10 am.
