Join us for a free summertime concert on the lawn in front of the Greenbelt’s Carousel for All Children in Willowbrook Park. Included in the program of patriotic music will be two original pieces composted by Howard Fox, President of the Board of Directors of the Greenbelt Conservancy: “An American Folk Tapestry“, which is a medley of American folk songs representing various regions of the country, and “Hymn for a Fallen Soldier,” a more solemn piece in memory of and in honor of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

This event is free and open to all. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket. The Carousel concession stand will be open for purchasing drinks, ice cream and snacks.
The Staten Island Philharmonic will host two additional free concerts on Sunday, July 1 at 4 PM in Conference House Park in Tottenville and on Wednesday, July 4 at 6 PM at the Alice Austen House/Museum in the Rosebank section of Staten Island.
