Project Hospitality is counting on borough residents to open wallets and hearts this holiday season and donate new scarves, hats, gloves, socks, hooded sweatshirts, thermals and other cold-weather clothing between now and Jan. 6.

Please leave the prices and store tags on the clothing.

The items will be distributed to the homeless and other Staten Islanders in need of warm clothes.

Items will be accepted at Project Hospitality’s administrative offices, 100 Park Ave. in Port Richmond, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, from now through Jan. 6.

The receptionist will provide receipts for all donated items.

For more information, contact Deacon Paul Kosinski, director of community outreach, at 718-448-1544 ext. 134 or email: paul_kosinski@projecthosptiality.org

This year, Project Hospitality has served more than 35,000 homeless, hungry and otherwise marginalized Staten Islanders.
