Veterans’ Day Celebration Movie screening of FROM HERE TO ETERNITY

A Big Band performance by Al Lambert and The St. George Theatre Orchestra

This Veterans’ Day, celebrate the many veterans of our local community with a great night of entertainment that “turns back the clock” to honor the St. George Theatre’s great history!

First, there will be a 40-minute big band concert by The St. George Theatre Orchestra, under the direction of Michael Morreale featuring special guest singer and veteran entertainer Al Lambert, echoing back to the theatre’s heyday of performers such as Al Jolson, Guy Lombardo, Kate Smith and the Jack Teitelbaum Orchestra.

Following intermission, the St. George once again becomes a movie house as we screen the classic film From Here to Eternity on the big screen. Winner of eight Academy Awards including Best Picture, From Here to Eternity features an all-star cast of Burt Lancaster, Frank Sinatra, Montgomery Clift, Donna Reed, Deborah Kerr, and the Hollywood debut of Ernest Borgnine!
